Free/Open-Source Operating System for routers

Primary responsibility consisted of participating in development and support of a Debian gnu/Linux-based operating system designed for router hardware. Other objectives were introducing the new features like VPP (vector-processed packets) traffic capabilities and designing smart hardware resource limitation checks to ensure the device has enough CPU and memory resources left to operate both VPP and in standard mode. Most of the software consisted of complex Python scripts imposed over Debian base image.
